Demanding Characteristics of a Photographer

[tm_heading tag=”h5″ custom_google_font=”” font_weight=”500″ text=”Professional photographers work in different fields, including wedding and portrait photography, photojournalism, medical, scientific and industrial photography, fashion and advertising photography. They work in studios or on location, and may be employees or freelance photographers. ” font_size=”lg:18″ line_height=”1.94″][tm_spacer size=”lg:45″][tm_heading tag=”div” custom_google_font=”” text=”Despite the differences, all photographers share a number of demanding characteristics, including excellent technical skills, an ability to work with people, a strong creative sense and good commercial judgment.”][tm_spacer size=”lg:50″][tm_image image_size=”custom” align=”center” image=”107″ image_size_width=”770″ image_size_height=”510″][tm_spacer size=”lg:46″][tm_heading tag=”div” custom_google_font=”” text=”Photographers must have excellent technical skills. They must be familiar with camera operations and have a good understanding of exterior and studio lighting. Also, they should be able to use photo-editing software to carry out post-production work. Photographers can develop their technical skills through training programs at art schools or colleges offering photography courses.”][tm_blockquote text=”We point past each other with our words, arguing as though we are looking at the same facts and experiences.”][tm_heading tag=”div” custom_google_font=”” text=”An ability to work with people is important for photographers who concentrate on wedding, portraiture, fashion and editorial photography. They must be able to put their subjects at ease and gain their cooperation to achieve the results they want. Photographers also work closely with art directors, designers and editors when they’re working on advertising, fashion or editorial assignments. Photojournalists collaborate with writers to create a strong story that combines editorial with relevant images.

Get Paid to Travel the World

[tm_heading tag=”h5″ custom_google_font=”” font_weight=”500″ text=”Since we’ve been spending our time answering these emails and how to be a travel blogger, we thought it would be better for us to write a post about it. We had people share their stories and they have gone over really well. But people had several questions about how to get a job, how do you make money traveling, and save money abroad. It made us realize that we should write an in-depth post about how to get paid to travel the world.” font_size=”lg:18″ line_height=”1.94″][tm_spacer size=”lg:45″][tm_heading tag=”div” custom_google_font=”” text=”We earn a high six-figure income by running a travel blog, but we’ve also learned a lot from our friends and colleagues about other ways they make money. So, we’ve rounded up the first-hand experiences of people we know or have met during our seven years of full-time travel that get paid to travel the world.”][tm_spacer size=”lg:50″][tm_image image_size=”custom” align=”center” image=”107″ image_size_width=”770″ image_size_height=”510″][tm_spacer size=”lg:46″][tm_heading tag=”div” custom_google_font=”” text=”If our inbox is any indication, many people are looking for ways to travel and make money, and we thought that we’d share a few resources and tips with you on how to make your dream a reality. Central and South America are other great options for saving money while traveling. We feel that it is important for a travel blogger to have experience traveling, so the sooner you can manage to get on the road and share your stories, photos, and videos, the better. How to Achieve Goals in Life

[tm_heading tag=”h5″ custom_google_font=”” font_weight=”500″ text=”Most of us never follow through with many of our goals and end up feeling like failures. But most of the time failing on our goals is a result of lack of planning. If you make a plan, you can acheive your goals and live the life you’ve always dreamed of. We did it, you can too!” font_size=”lg:18″ line_height=”1.94″][tm_spacer size=”lg:45″][tm_heading tag=”div” custom_google_font=”” text=”Whatever your life goal may be, I have learned that there is a tried and true pattern to make it work. Whenever Dave and I have sat down and truly planned to make things happen, we have achieved success. But more importantly, we have learned that first and foremost you really have to want to make that change.”][tm_spacer size=”lg:50″][tm_image image_size=”custom” align=”center” image=”107″ image_size_width=”770″ image_size_height=”510″][tm_spacer size=”lg:46″][tm_heading tag=”div” custom_google_font=”” text=”I have thought long and hard about my frustration with my weight and fitness over the past two years and I realized that I didn’t really have any intention of committing. I had so many other things on my plate, focusing on fitness wasn’t a priority for me. In the back of my mind yes, I wanted to look and feel better. But in reality, I had no intention of doing anything about it. And deep down I knew it.”][tm_blockquote text=”Life is like a beautiful melody, only the lyrics are messed up. ― Hans Christian Andersen”][tm_heading tag=”div” custom_google_font=”” text=”I have had friends in the past who said that they wanted to quit smoking, but when I watched them light up another cigarette after having a few beers, or after a stressful day at work, I knew they really didn’t want to quit yet. They liked the idea, but the reality was, they weren’t committed to taking action. They kept making excuses as to why they weren’t committing. (Source: theplanetd.com)”]

Why DIY Tools were Rejected by the Market?

[tm_heading tag=”h5″ custom_google_font=”” font_weight=”500″ text=”“With the web design service industry a $20.1B market in the US alone, and more than 16M new websites added every month, who creates these millions of new sites? More than 70% of websites are created in a professional process by developers using pro-developers platforms. These B2B solutions offer tools for building advanced websites including custom design and CMS (Content Management Systems), such as WordPress, Joomla and Drupal.”” font_size=”lg:18″ line_height=”1.94″][tm_spacer size=”lg:45″][tm_heading tag=”div” custom_google_font=”” text=”While 70% of websites are built by developers, agencies, and freelancers, only 3% of websites are built by small-businesses with self-serve DIY tools like Squarespace, Wix, and Weebly. The DIY model has barely putting a dent in the website building market, despite aggressively building out features for over a decade.”][tm_spacer size=”lg:50″][tm_image image_size=”custom” align=”center” image=”107″ image_size_width=”770″ image_size_height=”510″][tm_spacer size=”lg:46″][tm_heading tag=”div” custom_google_font=”” text=”Why do businesses still depend on internal teams or service providers, ie agencies and freelancers, to build websites for them? Can’t these feature-rich self-serve platforms provide powerful, easy-to-use tools businesses need to build a site themselves, without needing to depend on “the web guy?” Shouldn’t building a website be as easy as setting up a Facebook page?”][tm_blockquote text=”Platform companies are product organizations that think in terms of roadmaps and features and sprints.”][tm_heading tag=”div” custom_google_font=”” text=”While some websites are simple and any luddite can quickly build them with existing DIY tools, many business websites are extremely complex and are custom built by internal teams and / or digital agencies for hundreds of thousands of dollars. Or millions. And, many small businesses just don’t want to learn how to use DIY tools, or don’t care to, or have time to. They’d rather focus on their day to day business. Digital marketing is not their forte or interest. (Source: medium.com)”]

US Ranks Near Bottom on Development Commitment

[tm_heading tag=”h5″ custom_google_font=”” font_weight=”500″ text=”The US ranks near the bottom of an index which ranks 27 of the world’s richest countries on their dedication to policies that benefit people living in the poorer nations. The poor performance by the US in the Commitment to Development Index (CDI) was driven by low scores on foreign aid, finance, and environmental policies, according to the annual report released on Tuesday by Washington-based Center for Global Development (CGD). ” font_size=”lg:18″ line_height=”1.94″][tm_spacer size=”lg:45″][tm_heading tag=”div” custom_google_font=”” text=”The CDI, published annually by the CGD, ranks 27 of the world’s richest countries on their dedication to policies that benefit people living in poorer nations. Sweden tops this year’s CDI, followed by Denmark. Germany climbs to the podium and shares third place with Finland, said the annual report released by the CGD. The US remained in the 23rd spot out of 27 rich countries in the survey, the report said. “][tm_spacer size=”lg:50″][tm_image image_size=”custom” align=”center” image=”107″ image_size_width=”770″ image_size_height=”510″][tm_spacer size=”lg:46″][tm_heading tag=”div” custom_google_font=”” text=”The US scored well on security and trade, although new tariffs could drag down the US’s ranking in the future. European countries, meanwhile, took the top 12 spots in this year’s ranking. “It’s clear that European countries are taking the lead on global development, while the US takes a big step back,“ said Anita Kappeli, a researcher at the Center for Global Development and an author of the study.

It also performs poorly on technology. (Source: economictimes.indiantimes.com)”]
